Bomber Command Medal 1939-45
The medal sold together with:

- Slip-case for case of issue
- Original makers insert card numbered 8905 from makers Award Productions Ltd, UK
The medal retaining its original fitted riband and fitted with a mounting brooch with hinged pin & clasp as-issued
Obverse: In centre a a wreath with the Royal Air Force abbreviation RAF with laurel sprays, on each side and on top a Kings Crown, surrounding the centre piece are 6 x smaller double sided laurel sprays each of which in the centre has an abbreviated title for each of the 6 x different categories of air-crew brevets vis; N, WAG, B, E, ag & Q
Reverse: Dedpiction of a four engined bomber, with dates 1939 & 1945 on each side, and the legend 'A Tribute To The Aircrew Of Bomber Command
This medal was struck prior to the retrospective issuance of the 'Bomber Command' clasp for wear on the riband of The 1939-1945 Star
